Grandma Becky (Jackee's mom) came into town to help a new mom out. She's only been here since Wednesday night and already she's made a freezer full of food...including her fantastic homemade buns!

Grandma Becky swears she got a real smile out of him...I'm pretty sure it was just gas.

Hi, I'm Tyson's grandma Becky. I swear, he did smile at me. I was playing with his pacifier on his lips and he smiled.
It's been quite interesting. My train ride turning into a long, long bus ride. Now, as I try to impress my daughter and son-in-law, I'm cooking and it seems I'm screwing everything up. Today I made my homemade buns and I forgot to add salt. Therefore, they are a bit blah. Yesterday (I think) I made a spinach quich (?sp) and got the egg yolk and egg white mixed up. There have been more, but I can't think of them right now. They have been very gracious and have eaten whatever I make. Turns out that Jason is an awsome cook. Loves to try new recipes. I'm pretty sure he will do the cooking from now on.
Jackee's pretty tired out. The baby is keeping her awake at night cuz even when he's in the bassinet, he makes noises so Jackee can't sleep. She thinks he's going to need to eat, so why try to sleep. At least that's what I think is going on.
Anyway, I love my new grandson and it will be tough to go home.
